Decorative Concrete Installation |

Our decorative concrete faux stone overlay installation is usually a three day process: Day 1: Prepare the existing surface and link coat. We will either power wash bare concrete, scarify(grind) or sandblast existing overlays such as paint or spraydeck, or remove riverrock. When prepared, we apply a linking coat that contains many 'glues' to insure that our stone overlay stays in place. Day 2: Apply texture coat. We will clean out any existing structural cracks so that they will later become part of the entire stone design thereby making such cracks 'disappear' into our patterned design. This is the crack incorporation system that we invented. Next, we will pour on and hand trowel our cement onto your surface. In about 2-4 hours when the decorative concrete has hardened somewhat, we will hand cut one of our designs that you have previously chosen. Day 3: Stain and seal. We will hand stain each individual stone. Usually, we use three different colors but, at times, we use one color. When dry, we then antique wash the entire surface. When dry, we use one half inch brushes to paint the grout lines. When dry, we then apply a sealer with slip resistant additive. Notes: You may walk on our surface the next day. If your surface is a driveway, you may drive on our surface five days after we apply the sealer.
